Our girl Angel is quite a marvel. She’s approximately 7 years old. When we first saw her at the shelter, Angel was completely emaciated, shut down, and in pain. She was pulled and immediately taken to the vet. She had an injury to her toe (it was broken in the past) that was infected and causing her quite a bit of discomfort. She joined a local foster in Texas and awaited her transport to CO. At this foster home, Angel lived with a cat and she was non-reactive to it. Upon arriving to CO, Angel began to put on weight and gain her strength. She was started on some medicine for her infection and boy did she blossom! Angel is THRIVING. She’s great with dogs and is still quite spry. She’s friendly with people, too! Angel is crate trained, walks well on a leash, and does best with a doggie door.
