Anna's Story

Sweet, soulful, Anna. This girl showed up as a stray at a small shelter in Denver City, Texas. She’s around 4-5 months old and is just as sweet as she looks. Anna is guessed to be quite a large girl and due to her breed, she’s looking for a home with a fenced in yard and guardian breed experience. Anna enjoys the company of her other canine foster siblings and is quickly learning the ropes of home living.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
