Start Your Day Right with Applejack! 🥣🍏
Just like the breakfast cereal, Applejack (affectionately known as AJ or muppet) is the perfect way to add a little extra sweetness to your morning (and every other part of the day)! He is a great size at 19-20 lbs and we think he is a 3-4 year old Lhasa Apso/Havanese mix. This boy is a delightful blend of love, loyalty, and fun.
Applejack is the kind of dog who sticks by your side and he’s always eager to show how much he loves being with you. If you’ve ever seen a “happy dance,” wait until you witness Applejack’s “happy burpees” (check out the video on his adoption page). Whether it’s a wagging tail or a playful bounce, he’s never shy about expressing his joy! Plus, he’s house-trained and walks happily by your side on a leash (he has some pretty amazing leash skills).
While Applejack is generally good with new people, he can occasionally find an unfamiliar face a bit intimidating at first, so he’d thrive in a home with no children or older kids who understand if he needs his space when meeting someone new. As for other dogs, Applejack would love to be the center of attention as the only dog in the home but he could do well with an easygoing buddy who lets him have most of the attention. He’s currently living peacefully with a mellow 40 lb pit bull with only a few grumbles.
