Please meet Bernie the Bernedoodle!! This handsome, black and white guy is approx 1.5 years old and 66 lbs! Bernie is an easy dog, great with other dog friends, kid approved, house trained, and walks easily on a leash. Bernie lost his home as the result of a divorce. He’s been shacking up with some friends in the meantime and is ready now to find his forever. Bernie will do great in a variety of homes, however he’s used to his humans working from home so people around often would be his preference. Although, he is also crate trained and has proven to be adaptable to new situations. If you can offer this cutie his forever, please don’t hesitate to put in an application!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
