Blackberry's Story

Blackberry is resilient, cautious, and oh so sweet! He’s shy to start but blossoms and becomes the sweetest guy! Blackberry opens up even faster if he has a doggie friend to show him the ropes! He doesn’t mind if they are big or small, as long as they love to wrestle with him! He has a gorgeous velvet coat that is irresistible and has mastered the puppy dog eyes. He’s working hard on potty training and kennel training. He has bursts of energy but also settles down very well. He would make a great addition to many different types of homes as long as it’s patient! If you think you’re blackberries new family please apply!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
