Please meet Bubba! Little dude with a big name AND personality! Bubba is a very friendly boy that loves his humans and other dogs. He plays fetch, is working on his house training, and is doing very well with his crate training. Initially, he sings the song of his people but only for a few minutes then he settles down. It’s this, his coat, and his stunning blue eyes that lead us to believe there’s some Husky in there. It’s his color pattern and adorable squishy face that make us think Boxer. He’s approx 11 weeks old now and is ready to find his forever home. Bubba entered MHCR via a high intake area in Texas where he came in as an orphan at only 4-5 weeks old. He’s a fighter and has earned an adventurous, posh life here in CO.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
