Butters, as in scotch, here. I’m a 7-8 month old, golden, buttery, Chow Chow mix. Contrary to what you may think you know about my breed, I’m here to break the mold. I’m a very sweet boy and I’ve settled in nicely to my foster pack of pitties and belgians. I’m a little on the shy side and I’m extremely affectionate. I just love being cuddled and snuggled. My foster mom says I’m house AND crate trained, which means I’m super smart since I’ve never lived in a house until recently. I’m a mildly-to-moderately energetic boy and I would likely do best in a home with a doggie friend, but it’s not required. I am looking for a home with a yard, though. I’m presently 40 lbs and I don’t have much growing left to do.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
