Buzz's Story

Buzz! Buzz is the fluffiest dog in all of the land. He’s a precious boy that hops and frolics and sets your heart ablaze. Buzz is 8 weeks old. He entered an under-funded shelter in Texas with his littermates as a young pup. They traveled to CO in hopes of finding their forever homes. Buzz joined a foster home with kiddos, dogs, and cats and he’s thriving. He is presently around 4.5 lbs. We believe he is a shih-tzu mix, however, neither parent entered the shelter with him so we can’t be sure.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
