Caroline's Story

The Chihuahua genes run strong in Sweet Caroline! This darling little girl will be 8 weeks old soon and ready to go home after 12/3. She can be a teensy weensy bit shy at first, but quickly warms up and loves the company of other dogs. She and her littermates entered the system at only a week or two old as part of a hoarding case. They were transferred to a rescue and were hand raised until 6 weeks of age, at which point they joined MHCR.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports.
