Do you have an empty couch, an extra side of the bed, and an affinity for foam parties? You could be the one for our girl, Cecilia! Cecilia is a 4 year old Mastiff that found herself in a small, underfunded shelter in Texas after being dumped there by her breeder. She had 3 days to find a plan. Luckily, a few photos circulated and Viola! She made her way to MHCR. Cecilia was spayed, had a gastropexy, and we were fully prepared to begin heartworm treatment since she was positive in Texas, but, by some miracle, two follow-up tests here in CO came up negative. So, without further ado, we are ready to offer her for adoption. Cecilia is a big girl whose body has been through a lot. It’s important she get proper nutrition in her new home without becoming overweight. She’s affectionate, friendly, good with dogs, and really seeks a comfy bed or lap to call her own. She comes complete with an automatic foam maker already installed in her mouth. It’s activated by using bully sticks.
