Chico's Story

Chico the chichi! Chico is a very friendly, 1.5 year-old, 8-9 lbs, male, Chihuahua. Chico is a very friendly, affectionate boy and wherever his human is you can bet he’s standing alongside them. He’s an active guy, curious in nature, and quite playful. He does well with other dogs, sleeps quietly in his crate at night without a peep, and does well with his house training if kept on a schedule. Chico loves to take walks and does well on a leash, too! He will make a great addition to a variety of homes.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
