Covington's Story

Covington is a 5-6 month-old, male, German Shepherd mix. He has a very, very soft, fluffy coat and he loves to play with dog friends. Covington comes from a very underserved area in New Mexico. We suspect he will be a large sized boy. He will benefit from an active home with a yard, dog friends, and humans willing to continue to socialize him. He loves attention from his peeps and his foster mom says he’s the “sweetest ball of fluff ever!”

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
