Dean's Story

Hey all, I’m Dean! According to my prior owner, I’m a Schnoodle. That’s a Schnauzer/Poodle mix for those not familiar with designer breeds such as myself. I’m a happy little dude and I LOVE kiddos. I’m also fine with other dogs, too! What I don’t like is sharing my food and cats. I hate cats. My favorite pastime includes snuggling and kissing on my foster family. They’re so great. My foster mom said she was so pleasantly surprised because I was a little timid at first. Now I’m coming out of my shell and she says I’m a delightful little dude. I’m around 12-15 lbs. I am a talker, so I need a home without shared walls. I’m also about 1-2 years old.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
