Doug's Story

Meet Doug! This handsome boy is a very sweet and gentle soul. He is looking for an adopter who is willing to be patient, foster gentle correction and positive reinforcement as he continues to learn all of the perks that being a loved dog has to offer! Doug is dog friendly and has done great with the dogs in his foster home (male and female, big and small)! He is submissive with other dogs and is extremely tolerant of obnoxious puppy teeth going baby shark mode! Doug is a pretty mellow fellow who does well while leashed and will trot right along side you. As an added bonus- despite being part Pyrenees, this boy isnt much of a barker, yet!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
