Eli's Story

Adorable, happy, goofball, Eli! Eli is a 10 week old, male, Aussiedoodle mix. He and his siblings joined MHCR after being surrendered to a Texas shelter as a result of an accidental breeding. Eli is a playful boy who is on the go. He enjoys running around, wrestling with his foster siblings, and exploring outside. Due to the nature of mixed breeds and his age, we cannot specify whether Eli is hypoallergenic or low shed. Also, we are seeking active families with fenced in yards for his forever home.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
