Fred (I've Already Found a Home)

Allow us to introduce you to Fred. Fred is a 3 year old, Basset/Dachshund mix from Alice, TX. Fred is a fraidy cat. New people, situations, and animals have really rocked his world since leaving the shelter. BUT, what we are finding out is Fred actually is a playful, sweet, affectionate pup once you peel back a layer or two. Fred has been free roam trustworthy in his foster home. He is certain cats are NOT a force to be reckoned with and he’s fine if they set the rules in his forever home. Fred has done well with other playful dogs, too! At this time, we would recommend a home with older kiddos as Fred isn’t a fan of a ton of body handling. He really likes sleeping in and has discovered that human beds are where it’s at. In fact, we are pretty sure Fall will be his fave season due to all of the snuggles that will ensue. Fred will enjoy a home with a yard and a confident, playful, doggie friend.
