Gigi's Story

Gigi is a petite, ~2-year-old, Chihuahua mix with the cutest splash of white on her chest and the most unforgettable bat-like ears that pop into “sport mode” whenever she’s excited. At just 9 lbs, she may be small, but she’s full of energy, speed, and spunk! She sleeps soundly in her crate at night and feels most comfortable when her foster mom is nearby—she’s a little shadow who loves nothing more than curling up in a warm lap for snuggles. She plays well with other dogs, enjoys exploring her surroundings, and loves to be where the action is. Gigi is also learning the ropes of leash walking and potty training. This high-energy girl would love a home where she can run, play, and get all the love and attention she craves. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun companion, Gigi might just be your perfect match.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports.
