Gooseberry's Story

Gooseberry is the only scruff of the Berry pups litter. This handsome guy is guessed to be around 9 weeks old. If we had to choose, our assumption would be he belongs to Sage (one of the mama street dogs found with Gooseberry and his puppy pack). She’s photographed below. This guy may be a little shy at first, but as with most men, the fastest way to his heart is through his tummy!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
