Jack's Story

Jack is a 20 lbs, 5 year old, Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix. This adorable, snaggle tooth boy is presently shacking up at a super fun foster home. He loves to run and play with his canine and human foster siblings! Jack is a higher energy guy and will thrive in a home with a yard for endless games of fetch and chase. He will make an excellent companion for an active family with older kiddos. Couch snuggling privileges are a must, as snuggling is Jack’s 2nd job.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
