Javi's Story

Javi is a 2-year-old, 12-pound Havanese mix whose favorite place is wherever his person is. This sweet little guy absolutely adores humans and would love nothing more than to be someone’s best buddy and loyal sidekick.

He’s a great little adventure companion—he rides well in the car and loves going for walks. He’s okay with his crate, although he may occasionally let you know that he has strong feelings about being left behind. 😂

Javi seems happiest with a smaller, laid back, canine buddy close to his size rather than living with a whole pack. He’s interested in cats but isn’t aggressive toward them.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate little shadow who wants to be your best friend, Javi might be your guy!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
