Introducing Jax, an 18-month-old, Giant Schnauzer mix. Jax’s foster mom says he’s an old soul and is wise beyond his years. Overflowing with endless pep and equally adept at adventurous treks AND snoozing, he quickly wins over both pups and people. In fact, he’s often confused for Chief from Isle of Dogs and receives requests for his paw-tograph during strolls. He’s housebroken and crate trained, plus hardly leaves any fur behind. Jax is 75 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
