Meet Klondike — an 85-pound gentle giant with a heart every bit as big as his paws.
We believe Klondike is a 2-year old Great Dane mix, and he has many of the traits people love about the breed. He’s affectionate, easygoing around the house, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Whether he’s leaning against your legs, resting his giant head in your lap, or soaking up a good back scratch, Klondike believes there’s no such thing as too much love.
With his striking blue eyes, dairy-cow markings, and deep, booming bark, Klondike certainly has a commanding presence. He naturally keeps an eye on his home and will let you know when someone’s at the door, but once he realizes everyone is a friend, his tail starts wagging and he’s ready to receive his pets.
Klondike enjoys meeting new people and other dogs, walks politely on leash, is crate trained, and eager to earn a tasty snack or two. He’s always happy to join you for a neighborhood walk, and then will settle calmly inside the house.
