Please meet Kora! Kora is a stunningly beautiful, 4-year-old, Aussie. She came to MHCR as an owner surrender due to the owner’s elderly parents moving into the home and their need to have fewer dogs around. Kora is a loyal, loving, friendly girl. She’s well-mannered in a home and was raised with children and other dogs. Kora is friendly with dogs outside of her home, however she likes to protect her things within her home, so we advise an only dog home for her unless the potential owner is equipped to manage resource guarding. She does not display these tendencies towards humans, only dogs. Kora walks well on leash and is non-destructive in her home. She’s a delightful and easy girl. She has not been cat tested.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
