Libby's Story

Libby is a beautiful, 6 month old, female, Catahoula. This blue-eyed beauty queen is special in so many ways. She loves to play, spend time with her humans, romp around the yard with here canine brothers, curl up for a good movie, basically anything that means she doesn’t have to go in her crate. Being with her peeps is #1 in life for her. Libby, like most double merle pups, is deaf. She learns with her eyes and with her sense of touch. She will enjoy an active home with humans that appreciate a working breed. Fenced in yard required. Libby’s adult weight is expected to be under 45 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
