Matilda's Story

Matilda, Matilda! This fun-loving, energetic, 14 lbs girl is Matilda. She’s a 1 year old, female, Chihuahua mix and if you have an arm with a hand available to throw her toy, she promises to bring it back time after time after time. Matilda is good with other dogs and older kids (she hasn’t been with younger ones). She loves a cozy lap to snooze on, too! Matilda would make an excellent adventure buddy as she loves explore and take walks. She even sleeps quietly in her crate each night. Don’t delay, apply for her today!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
