Minnie's Story

Mini Minnie! This little lady is approx 10 lbs and 2-3 year old. Minnie is an extremely people focused babe. She joined MHCR from a shelter in Oklahoma after she and her puppies were surrendered. The family traveled here and is now ready to find their forever homes. Minnie engages in play with her pups, but her main goal in life is to attain the love and affection of her humans. She’s been around teens and adults. She’s completely fine with both. Minnie is food motivated which will make training a breeze. She is great with dog friends. Her forever home should be willing to offer all the couch snuggles her little chihuahua heart desires.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
