Gosh the first person to look past the ever so common black, box head, pittie that fills out an app and meets our Mulberry is going to be a very, very, lucky human! Mulberry has this way about her. She has the most endearing personality. While down in Texas picking some shelter dogs, our driver was filling the van with gas and heard a “click click click” behind her. She glanced over her should not sure what it would be and that’s when she saw these gorgeous, hopeful eyes looking up at her, pleading for help. It didn’t take long and Mulberry was on her way to Colorado. Since arrival, Mulberry has been nothing short of perfection. She’s amazing with dogs, rides well in the car, walks easily on a leash, greets strangers with her happy pittie smile……sheer perfection! We think our girl is approx 2 years old and she weighs about 55-60 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
