Big, beautiful, blue-nosed Ollie is an approximately 7-month-old, male, pittie mix pup! He’s around 38 pounds and will definitely pack on some lbs to grow into that giant head he has. He came from a high intake shelter in Roswell, New Mexico. Ollie is a playful, loving dog and he enjoys running around with his foster brothers, Oso and Cash. He is doing a great job with crate training and thrives having a routine. He has been well behaved for bath time, handling, and riding in the car. He is smart, food motivated, and eager to please. He is a bit shy and quiet at first and easily over-shadowed by the other dogs, but he warms up very quickly and becomes fast friends. He is very playful when it is time to play but also enjoys multiple snuggles and several daily naps. He has been sleeping through the night in his crate. This boy is still very puppy-like and will need some continued training and socialization with positive life experiences. But he has all the potential in the world and will be a phenomenal addition to a family. His ideal home is probably with a family that owns a home with a fenced yard and has a slightly older similarly sized dog to play with and show him the ropes. Ollie doesn’t understand how big and strong he is and might be a bit too much (until more training occurs) for senior dogs, small dogs, or very young children. However, all adopters will be considered as we believe this boy to be very malleable and adaptable. Please come and meet Ollie!
