Ophelia is a 7 year old, 8.9 lbs, Chihuahua mix whose life up until now hasn’t really been too glamourous. Ophelia was brought to MHCR as part of a hoarding case with 57 dogs. She had spent the last number of hears with a substantial hernia that contained many of her internal organs. She required urgent medical attention. Once surgery was complete, she made her way to CO where she joined a foster family. Ophelia has opened up and is embracing what life as a beloved pet can mean. Now that she’s settled, she has a few requests, as every princess should. She’d like a kid free home and she isn’t fan of feline friends either. While she came from a home with dozens of dogs, she prefers calmer dogs that don’t get all up in her business. She’d love a calm, adult only home where she can be the center of their world. Oh, she also requests endless french fries.
