There is only one word to describe Paris…SWEET! Sweet like a French pâtisserie! She loves everyone she meets, especially little kids! She always extends her paw to get your attention and more love from you. Paris is very dog friendly and will be the submissive dog in a meet and greet situation, but will quickly want to play with her new dog friend once she is comfortable. Paris is house broken with a dog door and enjoys spending a ton of time outside, as is typical with her breed. She enjoys roaming the large yard at her foster home with her dog companions and sitting up on the deck to observe her surroundings.
Paris is a 3 year old Great Pyrenees. She is on the smaller side at 65 pounds and has silky, smooth hair. Her ideal home would have land, 1 acre+ for her to roam and observe with dog door access for her to come and go. She would definitely benefit with another dog in the home as she enjoys the companionship. No apartment or condo living for this girl. Paris is a normal barker, which is an exception for a Pyrenees. She only barks when warranted like when she sees the neighboring fox family or people and their dog walking on the street. She has never barked inside her foster homes house.
In February, Paris gave birth to 10 adorable puppies and raised them until they found their forever homes recently. She was an excellent mother and now it is her turn to find her perfect family! Her puppies DNA was 40% Great Pyrenees, so that is why we suspect she is purebred. Of course,it is an educated guess.
