PB, short for Peanut Butter, joined MHCR with her sister, Jelly. While these two things undeniably go together, PB and Jelly are looking for homes of their own. PB is a very people oriented girl. She’s snuggly, yet playful, food motivated, and loves toys. PB is crate trained and doing very well with her house training. We believe PB is a Shepherd mix (whether Dutch or German, your guess is as good as ours). She’s got big ole feet and we’re thinking she may grow to be around 75 lbs. PB is only 4.5 months old at this time. She came to MHCR from Roswell, NM. She was part of a litter of 7, however, she and Jelly were the only ones that made it out alive as their littermates were euthanized due to lack of space at the shelter.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
