Precious Penelope has taken a break from filming the latest release of Fraggle Rock to take some time to find her forever family. This sweet, curious girl is around 3 months old and we think she may be a border collie mix. Penelope is in foster with all sorts of critters (dogs and bunnies) and she’s doing great! She loves to wrestle and play and take long naps snuggling with her foster mom. Penelope will benefit from a home with a fenced in yard and a semi-active human to keep her mind entertained. She’s a very smart little girl and has caught on to basic commands almost instantly! She is on a good schedule with her foster mom and her house-training accidents have been minimal, too! Penelope is also kid friendly!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
