Pugsley's Story

Pugsley is an adorable pittie mix whose mama was dumped at a high kill shelter in Texas with 3 week old pups. Luckily the family remained together (which is important for young pups) and they’ve all arrived safely here in CO where they’re being cared for in a loving foster home. Pugsley is now around 12 weeks old. He’s an adventurous, fun-loving, friendly pup that will thrive in an active, adventure seeking home.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
