Raymond's Story

Adorable, handsome, irresistible Raymond is now ready to find his forever home. This handsome guy is an F3 Cockapoo. He was surrendered by his breeder after it was discovered that Raymond had a PDA. This is a tiny little vessel within the heart that didn’t close all the way. Raymond needed a surgery and he needed it STAT. So, off to MHCR he went! Raymond had his surgery and now has an excellent prognosis (the surgery is generally curative). He’s now approx 4 months old. He loves to play with his foster humans and canine friends and indulges in some mad snuggling too. Raymond is presently 7-8 lbs. He is still growing and we suspect he will be around 20 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
