Rocco's Story

Rockin’ Rocco! This gorgeous guy is a dream in every way. He’s about as Boxer as a Boxer can get, and he has the perfect build at 59 lbs. And there’s more! He is already free roam trustworthy, crate-trained, house-trained, and he walks well on leash. Rocco gets along great with other dogs, but he’s too mature for that “playing” nonsense and prefers to spend his time on his own with a squeaky toy or surveying his kingdom from the couch or bed. He loves women most of all, but he does take a minute or two to make sure new people are approved to be his friend. Once they’re in, they’re IN, and Rocco is their new bestie. He loves people so much that he’ll even talk to you when you return from being away. Please apply if you’re interested in Rocco, the raddest Boxer around.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
