Beautiful Rose is a 3 month old, female, Chihuahua mix that joined MHCR as part of a hoarding case. She’s the shy type and takes a bit to warm up, however, this process is much speedier when she has a resident helper dog! Rose draws so much confidence and comfort when she has other canine friends around. She’s in foster with older kiddos and does well with them and even the feline residents, too! If you have a quieter, multi-dog home she could be the one for you!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
