Ryker's Story

Ryker is a 60 lbs, 7 month old, male, Mastiff mix. His somewhat houndy appearance makes us suspect of some Fila Brasiliero somewhere within his family tree. Regardless of his roots, Ryker is the cats meow, the bees knees, the, well, you get it. He’s a gentle giant. Ryker is good with kids, canines, and felines. His ideal forever home will offer plenty of snuggles, ample play time, and be welcoming of doggie drool. Ryker is not finished growing yet and his forever home should be aware that he may reach 100 lbs or more.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
