Soulful Sarah! Sarah joined MHCR as a transfer from a high intake shelter in south Texas. Sarah was dumped by her family after 8-9 years because they got a puppy and she wasn’t a fan. Can you even imagine watching your family walk away because they got a younger model? Ugh…..Sarah can, because she lived it. Well, we were determined to turn her frown upside down. Thanks to a wonderful foster offer, Sarah came to CO and joined a loving home. While she may be a senior, she’s still quite spry and playful. Squeaky toys are her absolute fave and she really enjoys shredding them. Puppy antics aren’t for her but she definitely enjoys the company of her adult canine friends in her foster home. Sarah is also crate and house trained. This gorgeous girl is a true Dane in that she is 100% velcro once she’s bonded to you, which just takes a hot minute. She will thrive in a mature home with humans around often to spend time with her and spoil her rotten! We recommend a home without small doggie friends for Sarah.
