Silver's Story

Sweet Silver is looking for a very patient home. This adorable girl spent the first year of her life without the company of humans and because of this she’s quite shy. Silver will do well in a quiet home with another dog (or 2 or 3) that is friendly and can help her trust. Her ideal home will have a fenced in yard (minimum of 5’) and humans that are patient with her while she learns to trust. Slipper uses a doggie door and is house trained. She finds safety in small spaces (hence the photo under the chair).

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
