Summer's Story

Summer is a 5 mo, female, Heinz 57, although her primary breeds are pittie, aussie, and dachshund. She is very petite and slender, weighing in at only 35 lbs right now. Summer has stripes for days! This adventurous girl is mild mannered and LOVES kiddos and other dog friends. Cat friendly too! She loves the water and a good cuddle on the couch with her foster dog brother as well as the resident children. Due to her breed mix, we are requesting a home with a fenced in yard. Snag her quick before the season changes!

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
