This beautiful boy is Titan! He’s a 4.5 month old lab mix. He recently joined MHCR as a transfer from a local shelter. Titan’s prior owners and the shelter staff labeled him as a bite risk because of his puppy like behavior. He was deemed in adoptable and his time was almost up if you know what I mean… Titan’s foster mom decided to take a chance on him as pups often behave much differently in a foster home than in a shelter. Well, wouldn’t ya know, he’s amazing! He’s a ball of energy and loves to play! He loves attention and people. But most of all, Titan LOVES his canine foster siblings. He sleeps through the night in his kennel and is working on potty training, too. Titan is doing wonderfully and will love a family of his own for the holidays! My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
