Meet Toto — a storybook terrier ready to find his happily-ever-after.
With his scruffy good looks and bright, knowing eyes, he bears a striking resemblance to the famous pup from “The Wizard of Oz.” We suspect he’s a Cairn Terrier / Silky Terrier mix (with maybe a little extra magic sprinkled in), and at just under 10 pounds, he’s the perfect lap-sized companion who looks devilishly handsome tucked in-between your throw pillows.
Toto is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He adores cuddles, soft blankets, being held, and soaking up every ounce of love you’re willing to give. He’s playful with toys, does wonderfully with other dogs, and is cat-friendly, too—making him an easy fit for many types of homes. This little guy is also smart and eager to learn. He knows sit, is developing excellent recall, and has already picked up some polite habits from his foster brother — like waiting patiently for treats, mealtimes, and to go outside. Toto is house trained (with a consistent routine), crate trained, and walks nicely on leash.
After being left behind, Toto is more than ready for a forever home where he’s chosen every day — a place full of snuggles, cozy blankets, and people who see him for the loyal, loving companion he is.
