Turner's Story

Turner is a 10 week old, Great Dane mix (his mom was a pure Dane). He entered rescue with his brother, Hooch, and they are quite the crime-fighting canines. Turner is full of love – love for humans, love for other dogs, love for chew toys, and wrestling. While he can be a bit cautious with bigger dogs, he LOVES to play once he knows that the big dogs are friends. Just like you would expect from a canine crime-fighter, he is a curious little pup who enjoys exploring the backyard in his foster home, hunting down any clues that might lead him to his forever home.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
