Zeke (I've Already Found a Home)

Zekey boy is looking for his true forever home. This sweet lab mix is around a year old. He’s approx 55 lbs and is lean and FAST! He loves to run through the yard and wrestle with his canine foster siblings. When he’s not wrestling, he can be found chasing cars along the fence line (cars are on the other side, don’t worry, he’s safe). He’s as fast as lightening! Zeke occasionally participates in a few games of fetch with his human and he LOVES the water. Zeke presently lives with a lot of dog friends of varying sizes and personalities; he does best with playful, confident, easy-going dogs. He’s house trained, loves his crate, and is free roam trustworthy (he has access to a doggie door if needed). He’s also chicken friendly and has assigned himself the job of protector of the chicks – he blocks the other dogs from harming them and likes to keep them all in a group together – he has a strong herding instinct. While it may take him a few days to bond, he will reward you with the best good morning hugs and nighttime snuggles. Zeke is not a hyper or energetic dog. He’s just looking for a good time. If that means he’s snuggled on the couch or in bed watching movies, he’s completely down for that, too. He is extremely food motivated, smart as a whip, excited to learn, and even more pleased when he sees he’s made you happy. Zeke would prefer an adult only home.
