Bentley is a beautiful, 3-year-old, Bernese Mountain Dog. He recently joined MHCR from a high intake shelter in Texas after his human died. Unfortunately, no one in the extended family was able to take him in. Bentley is a very playful boy and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He bonds quickly – likely due to what he’s been through – and never strays far from his foster humans. Bentley seems house trained and is crate trained, although he will bark some when he’s crated (and when he’s not, ha). He’s overall very gentle but can be sort of mouthy and jumpy when he’s feeling amped up so a home with super young kiddos may not be the best idea. He has a big personality to match his big, fluffy head and is sure to bring immense joy to whomever is chosen to adopt him!
