Sweet Nova is a 1.5 year old, female, Golden Retriever/Poodle mix. She came to MHCR as an owner surrender to a rescue in Texas due to lack of time. Since joining MHCR, we have gotten to know what a true gem Nova is. She’s wonderful with other dogs and would quite enjoy having a canine companion. She crates easily, seems house trained, and is friendly to everyone she meets. Nova’s foster mom says she learns really quickly, too! If you’re looking for a wonderful companion, Nova is your girl.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
