Murphy the mutt is a 3.5 year old boy that we suspect is lab/husky/pittie mix. He is an happy guy, around 60 lbs, and a friend to all. Murphy loves people and is great with kids! He does have a constantly wiggling hiney with a strong tail, so shorter humans should beware. Whenever his foster mom can’t find him, she checks in the basement where he can found curled up on he couch with his human foster kids. He adores them. He loves eating blueberries, singing with fire trucks and can fully dribble a soccer ball. His excitement and play style can be a little much for some other dogs, but he generally does well in playgroups. Murphy is quite the adventurer and has summited many mountains, co-piloted many road trips and spent many nights camping under the stars. He loves a lot of time outdoors and has a strong drive for hiking, running and other hard play. Murphy would do best with a yard and humans who will give him lots of daily attention and activity.

What Our Fosters Say...
My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
