Dalton is the kind of dog that makes you believe in soulmates. He’s sweet, loyal, smart, and just about perfect….just about. Dalton is looking for a single human household (although he may be fine with an adult couple). He’s playful with most dogs, however, he is best suited in a home as the only dog. Presently he lives with a couple house rabbits and he adores them. He likes to nuzzle up into their soft fur. Dalton is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on leash. He absolutely thrives on routine and predictability in a calm environment. He’s approximately 2 years old and 6 lbs. Dalton is more than a pet, he’s a quiet, loyal friend who will adore you with his whole heart.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
