Charlie Brown might be a beagle mix, but he is a 100% good boy! He loves his person and wants to be near them at all times. Charlie is potty trained, non-destructive, and loves going for walks! He doesn’t bark much, only when he sees another dog or animal. Charlie was initially skittish at the shelter and when he first entered foster care. However, he’s warmed up beautifully after just a few days. Continued socialization with people, new situations, and other dogs will have this boy being a social butterfly in no time. Charlie seems to have a decent prey drive when out on walks towards outdoor cats and rabbits so we recommend a home without feline friends. He is dog friendly and enjoyed doggie play dates at the shelter. He has the most beautiful soulful brown eyes and softest ears. You would be lucky to have this sweet pup as your forever doggo! Charlie is approx 1 year old and 36 lbs.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
