Allow us to introduce you to Cardi! Cardi is a 5.5 month old, female, Boxer/Pit mix with a GORGEOUS deep brindle coat. Cardi is just a sweetheart to everyone. She loves playing with dogs that will play with her, but is also respectful of the ones that prefer not to. She doesn’t pay much attention to the cats and is quite content if a cat lays right beside her. Cardi is the best doggie companion – she shares her toys and is always up for a good game of tug. Cardi is working on her house training and she can be fairly vocal when left by alone, however she sleeps soundly in her crate at night. Cardi is looking for a loving home with a fenced in yard. She would also do very well with kiddos and a canine friend.

My daughter and I have been volunteering with Mile High since its beginning, mostly driving the rescue van to NM to help with transports. We connect with other rescue partners, helping these dogs get to CO and then to foster homes, vet care, and their forever homes. We get to spend time together and feel good about helping the pups.
